How to Prevent Emotional Breakdowns at Work We all want to achieve the perfect balance between work and personal life.  We always look at the person who seems to have it all on the outside with great envy.  So, what is the secret behind being content with both areas of our life?  Modern culture makes sure we are always busy at home as well as at work and that makes us feel overwhelmed.  We are bound to have an emotional melt down at some point.  However, there are times when it is inappropriate, especially when you are working with a difficult colleague.  This article will address different ways to handle sticky situations at work and at home.    Start by waiting about 2 days before reacting to something.  Sounds easy, right?  Instead of over reacting due to high stress levels, you need to think through your actions.  Intense anxiety and stress can make you feel emotionally volatile – being on top of the world one day and feeling miserable the next day.  When you’re not feeling so great, you have a habit of losing patience and reacting to unpleasant situations with extreme annoyance.  This is due to prolonged stress at work or in your personal life.    You are generally supposed to leave your personal problems at the door when you get to work, but that is not always the case.  Things can happen to you or to a family member or good friend that may cause you to get upset.  If that happens, simply get up you’re your desk and go for a walk.  You could even call someone or confide in a coworker who you feel you can trust.  In addition, excessive work overload may have an impact on your emotional state because long hours can bring on major exhaustion.    Other things can contribute to emotional instability at work such as a mismatching in job skills and job responsibilities, inability to fit into a team to accomplish a goal, attitude issues with certain coworkers, job insecurity, and a lack of support system in the office.  Use weekends as a time to regroup and relax, not to pay bills, run errands, and go grocery shopping.  Vent to friends or your spouse about things that bother you not a colleague, who might use it against you or judge you.  It might take some work to find a happy medium, but it is possible.                                Read also artilcle celebrex without prescription
